Shapr3D has both commercial and academic users. Shapr3D is the first CAD system to run Parasolid™ software natively on iPad. In 2017, the team partnered with Siemens PLM to integrate the Siemens™ Parasolid™ geometric modeling kernel. The app was originally developed using the OpenCASCADE kernel.
It is compatible with all major desktop CAD software, and lets users directly import X_T, STEP, IGES, STL, DXF, DWG, JPG, PNG files and export X_T, STEP, DWG, DXF, STL, OBJ files.
